    The Gathering is for anyone and everyone. It’s a gathering for the people of HopeUC, but also a gathering for others to learn and be refreshed.

  • Where will the Gathering take place?

    The Gathering take place every year at HopeUC - Hope Unlimited Church Charmhaven. 164 Pacific Hwy, Charmhaven NSW 2263 in Australia.

    Adult - Full Time Delegate

  • I am coming into town for the Gathering, do you have any accomodation tips?

    Absolutely!

  • How do I contact the Gathering if I have additionl questions?

  • What about children under the age of 3?

    Children 0-3

    For mums and dads with babies and toddlers, we have a Parents Lounge which is located just outside of the main auditorium.

    This is a quiet space for you to feed and settle your precious ones and has a live video feed, so you don’t miss a moment of the Gathering. A nappy changing station is available for your use in the accessible toilet, just down the hallway.

    When sitting in the auditorium, please sit at the end of a row, or near the doors, so you can exit easily as needed.

    And, if you need to bring a pram with you, the Parent’s Lounge is the place you can park it.

  • Can my child come to Gathering if they have additional needs?

    Absolutely! Just let us know on the registration form (when you are registering your child) so that one of our leaders can contact you, so that we can make the Gathering the best experience for you and your family.

  • Do you have a Kid's program for children aged 3 -5?

    Our Preschoolers aged 3-5 have a team of leaders keen to meet them and help them experience God’s presence at Gathering this year.

    Drop-off: 30 minutes before each adult session starts

    Toileting & Nappies:

    We have a nappy change area in our Junior space. If your child needs a nappy change we will contact you.

    For those who are toilet training we suggest parents come regularly throughout the day to take their child to the toilet.

    If a child needs assistance on the toilet parents will be contacted to come and help them.

    Some Snacks Provided:

    Morning Tea, Afternoon Tea and Evening Snack are provided (but not lunch).

    We suggest giving your child something to eat before the night sessions as only a light evening snack is provided later in the evening.

    Sunscreen:

    Please apply sunscreen to your child before arriving in the mornings.

    The team will assist your preschooler to reapply sunscreen around midday.

    What to Pack:

    Backpack to contain all of the following

    Lunch in a marked lunch box

    Extra Snacks in case you think your child will need more than we provide (no lollies)

    Footwear the same as preschool

    Spare Clothing some activities will involve messy fun so pack spare clothes

    Hat brimmed best for sun protection

    Water Bottle we will have a refill station

    Jumper in case it gets cool

  • Do you have a Kid's program for Primary school aged children?

    Children from Kindergarten to Year 6 at school will be experiencing Gathering together. Our leaders are pumped to hang out with them. We are excited for what the Holy Spirit will do amongst us this year.

    Drop-off: 30 minutes before each adult session starts

    Toileting:

    Toilets are provided within the Primary Space for access by your child.

    Some Snacks Provided:
